FxPro Server Issues caused major losses
Well, for whatever reason, FxPro Servers decided to stop working in the middle of 3 of my trades. As a result I lost about $2,200, thank goodness for stop loss. As of this post, they still haven’t gotten their servers up and running since 9pm EST. So tonight I’m taking the evening off from trading. I’ll have to figure out whether I’m going to continue with FxPro. If their servers are this unreliable, I’m just needing to find another broker with decent spreads. I’m still doing ok, but seeing as I was at 9,800 and now down to 7,600, it’s a big hit.
Also noted that their connection appears to disconnect around 9pm EST for about 10-15 minutes. Their support says it’s because they “cycle” their servers at that time. Not sure why they don’t do this on a rotating basis so their servers still remain operational. Also not sure why they need to do it during trading hours. Doesn’t make sense to me, so if anyone else has answers, please share. Very frusterating, of course their support couldn’t answer these questions either.
Had 2 trades with fapturbo tonight. One for a profit, the other I had to manually close for a loss because of FxPro’s Server connection issues.
