Cat Crystals update
Ok, a month has gone by and here are my observations…
Scoop Free cat crystals is smaller than the Exquisicat. Exquisicat didn’t appear to last as long as scoop free crystals. I’d say almost 1/2 as long. By 20 days, exquisicat crystals were saturated with urine requiring almost daily mixing and finally ended up cleaning the tray and placing the scoop free crystals back in. So we’ll now see how long scoop free crystals last.
By removing the small clear plastic lid, you can go alot longer in removing the solid waste as there is more storage room under the step area now. For my one cat, it can go almost a week without intervention. Definately a week if absolutely necessary.

A quick update to Cat Crystals,
The Scoop Free Crystals definitely work the best. I can get a 10lb container at BJ’s which is enough for 2 loads which will last about 2 months. Also, by removing the clear plastic lid, it increases the storage space for solid waste to last about a week without intervention.
